Greater Hartford Academy Parents and Friends AssociationThe Parents and Friends Association is a wonderful organization, and you are automatically a member if you have a student enrolled at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Even if your student has graduated, hasn't yet enrolled, or you don't even have a student and are just a supporter of the arts we welcome you attend one of our informative monthly meetings.
The mission of the Parents and Friends Association is to enhance the visibility of the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in the broad community it serves and to support the needs of the students, parents, and faculty in this program for gifted and talented student artists of all disciplines. To achieve our goal the P.F.A. plans special events that support our gifted students and generate revenue for the school. Each year we sponsor the Orientation for incoming parents, a college financial aid workshop for parents, a field trip to the Performing and Visual Arts College Fair in Boston, and fund various student activites. |
